April first marks one year as Shine Pilates and my ownership of the business. Some may say I’m a fool for moving across the business and buying a business on April Fool’s Day … but we have so much to celebrate!

Here’s what we have accomplished in one year:

We’ve added 10 additional group classes to the schedule each week!

We upgraded our software making it more user friendly and transparent for you and we have our own app now, too!

Our new software offers transparency so you always know where you stand on your account and package/membership

We hosted Stott Teacher Training at our studio

We added a sixth Bodhi Suspension Trainer to our studio

We upgraded our props -with new rings, balls, large balls and bands, too!

We’ve added lots of fun items to our store - shirts, socks, spiky balls, reformer towels, and supplements, too.

We’ve made it a priority to have fully Certified Instructors.

We’ve added Barre classes to the schedule.

We’ve welcomed so many new members and students

We’ve added memberships to for privates and duets as well as our group classes.

We’ve added a cleaning lady - aka our Roomba vacuum that keeps our study tidy and clean.

We’ve prioritized learning with additional training at the Pilates Suspension Method retreat

And what I am most proud of - We have helped so many clients - rehabbing after a stroke, rehabbing after hip replacement, relieving back pain, relieving hip pain, getting back to hobbies they love, losing weight, fitting back in clothes again, finding their curves, toning arms for a wedding, regaining balance and regaining confidence and so much more!

We've created a community that supports each other, shares citrus and ideas, and socializes together, too.

I am grateful for all of you and your part in year one of SHINE Pilates! I can’t wait to see what we can do in year two!
