They say the best revenge is living right and in order to do that we have to eat right and take care of our bodies properly. With so much conflicting information these days it can be hard to know just what to eat, when to eat, how to balance cravings, deal with emotions, and combat inflammation. As a Nutrition and Health Coach, these are the topics I love and we can work on together!
MY HEALTH JOURNEY
Personally, I have tried a lot of ‘diets’ and ‘plans’ in the past and have certainly hopped on the the trends! Does anybody remember Fat Free Snackswell Chocolate Pudding or more recently the surge in low carb diets - I’ve tried them both in my healthy quest! Nutrition has been an interest of mine for quite some time but I struggled to know what was the right information and more importantly what was right for me. Studying at IIN really gave me that grounding in solid nutrition and gave me a lens to evaluate trends. I also learned so much about cravings and the emotion we bring to eating. It has given me a freedom to enjoy eating and cooking without the stress of being on a ‘plan or diet’ and that’s the good info I can’t wait to share!
HOW IT WORKS
We’ll delve into lifestyle factors as well as what’s on your plate. And rest assured there is no one size fits all diet. If you hate kale - you don’t have to eat it! Many find a renewed freedom in their approach to food by taking a holistic approach and working with a coach. We’ll focus on manageable lifestyle and nutrition changes in a thoughtful step by step manner to help you reach your goals. We’ll create habits together that fit your lifestyle not some rigid structured plan.
