There is a LL Cool J song with the lyrics, “Don't call it a comeback, I been here for years”. I know this because it is often played during cardio tennis. It resonates with me - the idea of longevity, sticking to it and being a presence through the years. Let’s be honest though - many of us do falter and do have comebacks.

While I understand the physics of it, my body is trying all kinds of cheats to make it easier. Thank goodness for videos because I can see what I am doing wrong.

Resolutions for me are often smaller and more of a to-do list and to finish list. The new year is like a fresh page in a new notebook - ready to be filled out. Not every page needs to be brilliant but the combined contents makes it all worthwhile.
