It’s awfully hot in Arizona this time of year. It doesn't cool off much at night either and that has made it more challenging for me to run outdoors. I could get up even earlier but it still often already in the 90’s.

It’s hard to believe it is already December and the holidays will be here soon! I love the holidays but it can also be a time were we drift from our regular workout routine. Whether you have kids or not, this is a busy time of year. Some go into winter hibernation and then there are lots of events and parties galore for others! I Can't

One of my Pilates mentors wisely told me some years ago, never give a student an exercise you aren't sure if they are ready to do. She went on to explain that with each movement, we can break it down into smaller movements or building blocks. If we begin with the building blocks mastering these, then when we approach a bigger movement we know we are ready for success! I've tried to adopt this philosophy with my teaching.
