Taking my Own Advice!

I say this often to clients … when life gets in the way and busy our workouts are just as important. We need our Pilates sessions to help destress or unwind tight tense muscles. I often find I am so much more productive when I take that hour to myself. I can only go so much before I need some time to reset, focus on myself and move! Don't Sweat the Small Stuff

I was texting with a friend this morning and catching up on her life and mine. She informed me a couple she is good friends with - husband and wife both 53 years old - have been moved into hospice as they are battling different terminal cancers. That is not that much older than me and truly heartbreaking. She said, “I’ve learned something from this experience of helping my friends at the end of their lives - don’t sweat the small stuff.” Some times we need these reminders to really take stock of what is important and what is not.

All the Feels!

In one day I’ll be taking ownership at Pure Physique PilateZ in Surprise, AZ. The space is beautiful, the equipment is fabulous and from what I’ve seen so far the clients are my kind of people, too. I hit if off with the former owner right away and it’s been a pleasure going through this process with her. Pursue your dreams ... it's not too late!

2020 was a year to take stock and assess, With the weirdness of having my studio closed for two and half months and then slowly regrowing to now booming again, it’s been a year to really reassess for me and maybe for you, too!
